C.A.T.S. presents – OKLAHOMA!

CATS (The Community Arts Theater Society) will present their summer musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Tony Award classic, OKLAHOMA!, featuring such beautiful music as Oh What A Beautiful Morning and People Will Say We’re In Love. With production values as only the CATS organization can produce, the musical promises to be an outstanding theatrical experience for the whole family.
CATS brings OKLAHOMA! to the Big Bear Performing Arts Center for 12 performances: June 21, 22, 26, 28, 29, July 2, 3, 5, & 6 at 7:30 and June 23, 30 and July 7 at 1:30. Ticket prices range from $16-$28 for Adults; $15-$26 for Seniors, and $9-19 for Kids under 18.

Old Miners 2nd Annual Big Bear Bluegrass Festival

Bring out your washboards, spoons and best boots for stompin’ this summer for the 2nd Annual Big Bear Bluegrass Festival July 12, 13 & 14, 2013. Enjoy three days of live “Bluegrass with Big Bear Altitude.” Choose from breath-taking Breakfast & Bluegrass concerts aboard the Miss Liberty Paddlewheel Cruise, intimate acoustic sounds on board an authentic Hay Wagon Ride through the Village, free Bluegrass concerts on the Beach, a headliners Nitegrass concert in the Village, and much more. Bluegrass workshops will also be available for enthusiastic students eager to learn from the talented group of Americana aficionados invading Big Bear this summer.
