ART ON THE LAKE
Art on the Lake XIV has become one of the premier fine art shows in Southern California. This is the 14th year for this fine art Festival and this year we move to the Village Events Center on Bartlett Avenue in the city of Big Bear Lake. This new venue will allow us to add music to the Festival, as well as welcome more artists.
This year’s Artists’ Reception on Friday evening, August 16, 2013 will be a special welcome and opportunity to preview the exceptional art of participating artists by all Arts Council’s members and important individuals in the Big Bear community who make Art on the Lake the success that it is.
Big Bear Lake is a year-round resort in the San Bernardino Mountains just a couple of hours from Los Angeles, Orange County and other surrounding counties. With over six million visitors a year, Big Bear is Southern California’s alpine playground surrounded by national forest with a fresh water lake at its center.
New this year, the Show will be held at the Village Events Center, located at 630 Bartlett Avenue, which is in the heart of Big Bear Lake’s downtown shopping and restaurant district. We are excited about this change and believe it to be a positive one that will allow the show to grow and expand in the coming years.
Art on the Lake draws artists and visitors from across Southern California.
