It is a relatively quiet weekend as far as events go this coming Veterans Day weekend, but there are a few things you may want to check out:
BIG BEAR SNOW PLAY IS OPEN
Big Bear Snow Play is open daily for the 2013/2014 tubing season, offering the only snow play now available in Southern California. Big Bear Snow Play is home to the longest tubing runs in Southern California! Enjoy thrilling downhill twists and turns for a fun packed day of tubing. Kids of all ages can hop aboard the magic carpet for an easy lift-assisted ride to the top.

SNOW SUMMIT END OF SEASON CELEBRATION
November 9 and 10 mark the final days for sightseeing and mountain biking at Snow Summit. On Sunday, guests can head to Snow Summit for an end of season celebration from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m. Visitors can enjoy a DJ and live music, $2 draft beers, and a raffle with dozens of prizes. Guests can also stock up on winter gear and enjoy big savings at the Sport Shop.
Snow Summit will also be offering a Veteran’s Day special on Sunday. In honor of our veterans, Snow Summit will be offering a FREE ticket good for a Scenic Sky Chair ride or an all-day Bike Park pass for all active duty military and veterans, with valid military identification. As always, active and retired military personnel will receive a 15% discount on all regularly priced items in the Sport Shop.
