Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! This Sunday is the official first day of spring and Big Bear Lake is experiencing absolutely gorgeous, springtime weather this week with highs in the low 60’s and beautiful, blue skies. If you aren’t quite ready to put the skis/snowboards away for the season, don’t worry! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain still have good coverage with perfect, spring conditions. Snow play areas are still open as well, and have excellent coverage. Come on up and enjoy all that Big Bear has to offer.

- Bear Mountain hosts the Transworld Trans-Am Finals – an amateur snowboarding contest, Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- The Cave is the place to be after the sun goes down, with DJ Night on Friday and “Born Jovi”, a Bon Jovi tribute band performing live on Saturday Night.
