RS Vacations Big Bear is doing its part to help everyone stay safe and healthy.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE:

As of today, Vacation Rental Cabins in Big Bear are currently allowed to operate and accept guests WITH RESTRICTIONS (See Below) even though traditional accommodations (hotels, etc.) have been temporarily shut down.

In compliance with the California Governor’s Regional Stay at Home Order and the City of Big Bear Lake’s Code Enforcement Rules, the following is in effect beginning 12/6/20:

  1. Guests must be from the same immediate household.
  1. Occupancy and Parking limits will be strictly enforced. *The occupancy limit shown for each cabin INCLUDES any kids. *Cars are limited to the number of bedrooms in the cabin. (Example – 3-bedroom house, 3 cars allowed)
  1. Guests found to be mixing households in the same vacation rental can be evicted and the agent/owner will be issued a citation if they were negligent in enforcing the Stay at Home Order.
  1. Visitors from other states must quarantine for 14 days before staying in a vacation rental.

Outdoor activities (skiing, tubing, biking, etc.) are open and allowed to operate at limited capacity. Most shops are open with social distancing measures, and restaurants are open for take-out only. Indoor recreation such as movie theaters and the bowling alley, etc. are temporarily closed.

We also want you to know that we take cleaning and disinfecting seriously, and our cleaners are trained and supplied with specialty cleaning supplies that will kill the virus on all surfaces. Each cabin is thoroughly cleaned and made ready just before your arrival.

Although we are still stocking our cabins with basics including paper towels and toilet paper, supplies are limited. During your stay in Big Bear please plan on bringing your own groceries, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.  We only have 2 grocery stores and many items are out of stock – and that’s just with our local residents shopping.  Bringing your own groceries, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. will assure you have everything you need for a great getaway, and will save you time and frustration in the grocery store.
