This 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath, 2500 sq. ft. home is nestled among the oaks and pines on more than 1/3 of an acre and features a garage and plenty of room for snow play and sledding in the spacious yard. The entrance hall features arts & crafts style stained glass windows and a large bench to keep all that ski equipment handy!

The woodsy, main living area features laminate wood floors, a central wood burning stove, wrap-around windows, skylights, large flat screen TV, WiFi, and comfortable, new sofas with recliners. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends after a long day on the slopes, lake or golf course. Off of the living room you will find the bunk room which has twin bunk beds and a full size bed as well. There is a newly remodeled 3/4 bath on this level and a full size washer and dryer.

The large dining table seats 8 with seating for 4 more at the granite bar. Cook for the entire crew in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy the stainless stove top, double door fridge with ice maker and a dishwasher. This kitchen also has plenty of storage in the rustic, knotty pine cabinets.

Lassen Bear Lodge features 2 master bedroom suites. The master “family suite” is on the main floor and has a comfy king bed, TV and CD player, electric fireplace and doors that lead to your own deck. The large, private master bath has a jetted tub/shower combo and dual sinks.

Venture upstairs and find yourself in the family room loft. Here you will find a queen sleeper sofa – the perfect place to curl up with a book or tablet. Do you need to check emails or surf the net? A little further on you will find a comfortable desk area that will make it easy to do just that.

The huge, main master is upstairs and features vaulted ceilings, a large king bed, a comfortable sofa with chaise, TV, walk-in closet and an amazing lake view. Enjoy that view with your morning coffee on your own private 2 level deck. A 3/4 bath is located in this master suite. Also located upstairs is a comfortable Guest Bedroom with a queen bed and an additional 3/4 bath for your convenience.

When you are ready to enjoy the outdoors, step outside through the slider and enjoy a huge, private, two-level deck that boasts a charcoal BBQ, plenty of seating and new spa – all with fantastic ski slope and mountain views and surrounded by lovely oaks and pines. Challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes in the large back yard or set off on a hike or mountain bike ride in the adjacent forest.

*We LOVED our stay here. You decorated everything SO great…a real combination of rustic lodge + new Pottery Barn + comforts of home! And it is SO big and spacious with the mini-suites and even a family bunkroom! Add to that the great location by the ski slope, the zoo and lake, right above town with the restaurants & fun things to do there, all the birds and trees, spa, swing, horseshoes etc….We obviously are coming back when we can and again thank you for having such a terrific place for us to vacation!

*We stayed at the Lassen Bear Lodge recently and had an amazing time in Big Bear! I’m compelled to write because this cabin really made the experience perfect. The cabin was large and spacious. It had enough rooms for two families…kids and adults! The large spacious kitchen flowed amazingly into the living space making it the perfect place for everyone to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The cabin was amazingly clean. Everything seemed fresh and new from the linens to the furniture. We felt like we were staying in a resort style cabin with all the thoughtful amenities. The large deck just outside the living and kitchen area were the perfect setting for us to wake up to hot coffee. The kids loved the swinging tire! It gave the adults time to have adult time, but it was hard to tear the kids away from the large kid friendly back yard when we wanted to leave. Also, notable was the hot tub on the deck…nothing better than drinks in the hot tub under the stars in Big Bear! And it’s location!! It couldn’t be in a better spot…it’s right at the base of Bear Mountain’s ski slopes and close to everything else in town. I give this place my highest recommendation. Although I’d like to keep it as my families little secret, I think many will enjoy this very cool cabin!—–Ryan G.
